A Beautiful Cruise
by S. Peace from Miami,Fl
Sailing date:
Apr 2013
Pros:
The decks were spacious plenty of seats
Cons:
An additional pool would be great
My recent crusie was to the Caribbean the ship was designed wonderful. There was plenty of things for younger children and the 40 plus crowd to enjoy while sailing. The dining areas were always clean. There was a large variety of foods on the ship although I didn't really care for everything being served. A lot of the food was very bland I believe it could have been prepared better. The captains dinner was very good. The staff on the cruise was very polite and helpful at all times. Families with younger children and teens would have a great time on Carnival's Glory. They offer programs for youngsters and night clubs for teens. Along with an arcade that the whole family can enjoy. Those individuals that are workout fanatics like myself they have a nice size gym area that's open 6am - 10 pm it allows the opportunity to workout any time of the day.

Dining/Food
The food was awful on Carnival's Glory I sailed April 2013 on a 7 day cruise and I was disgusted.
Stateroom Quality
The bed in my stateroom was very uncomfortable! I woke up every morning with back pains.
Ship Staff Quality
Very helpful staff

Fantastic Trip!
by Niki J from Minneaplis
Sailing date:
Feb 2013
Pros:
Weather was perfect, food was excellent
Cons:
Loud neighbors. They had children playing in the halls every night, in the afternoon and midnight
The ship was nice, it seemed a little outdated (I didn't mind though). Food was great, staff was great, rooms were not so great, but we got what we paid for.

A great getaway
by A Traveler from Atlanta GA
Sailing date:
Dec 2011
Pros:
The shows, food (especially at the steak house and platinum dining)
Cons:
The ridiculously long line at the wok Mongolian bar all the time as well as the even longer lines to get onto the tenders coming back to the ship from Grand Cayman
I loved the ship there was always something to do or something going on. I thought it was a really great time.

A NOT so wonderful cruise
by Mark L. from Gonzales, Louisiana
Sailing date:
Aug 2010
Pros:
Meeting some new friends
Cons:
THE FOOD!
Dealing with Bookit.com was the best experience of the entire vacation! I was expecting way more! When my wife had surprised me with this 29th anniversary gift of going to Novia Scotia and NB Canada, I was thrilled and filled with anticipation. This was our 9th cruise (7th with Carnival). We did all the pre-boarding requirements and the pre-check in with Carnival and were informed online and through the printed paperwork printed that since we had completed the pre-check in that we would save loads of time and would Bypass the check-in lines and go directly through the Fun Pass line. After 45 minutes to an hour of standing in the same line with both pre-checked passangers and those who werent we had a sinking feeling this might not turn out as well as we expected. To save time and space below I will only make brief comments. The food was terrible, the same menu items were repeated multiple nights. The rooms and room service were acceptable. The staff was very nice. The entertainment was Carnival, the Same-O-Same-O, nothing new! The ports of call were beautiful, but we are from south Louisiana and it felt like we had traveled about 50 miles from our home and was looking at some of our areas where fishing is the daily norm. Folks from the city, this may be something they would want to see. The excursions were totally a waste of money! We should have saved our money and went out on our own, we would have definitely had way more fun. De-barkation was very smooth and orderly.

The excursion bus trip "Peggy's Cove and the Titantic" was Okay, nothing to write home about but interesting.
Saint John, New Brunswick
My opinion New Brunswick was much prettier than Novia Scotia.

A True Vacation
by Anne H from San Jose, Ca
Sailing date:
Nov 2007
Pros:
Mom didn't have to do a thing
Cons:
Previous sailing policy/general disorganaization of onboarding process
The ship was enormous! We had seen pictures on line that made the decor look a bit gaudy, but it was not bad in person. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.

The only thing I saw missing was the need for more deck chairs.
Dining/Food
Dining room food quality was similar to a Red Lobster. The buffets were plentiful. Lots of options throughout the day. Almost too many...
Stateroom Quality
I haven't been on another ship in 10 years, but this room was fabulous. We had one of the few ocean view rooms with floor to ceiling windows. We never closed the blinds, just watched the ocean contently. This is where a cruise agent pays off - we would not have known these rooms existed, let alone to ask for them.
Ship Staff Quality
Incredibly responsive.
Entertainment & Activities
Broadway style shows. Stand-up comedians that were so good they didn't have enough room in the theater. Would have liked more options for the whole family. karaoke was only for adults, when there could have easily have been a family hour.
Children's Programs
Friendly staff. Would like to have a bridge or ship's tour offered to the kids. Children as yound as 2 are allowed in the kids club, though ours didn't want to stay.
